Training and Leadership Instruction

(CCEL)

known in Spanish as Centro de Capacitación y Entrenamiento para Lideres

CCEL is a flexible program that allows students to take classes on individual subjects, or an entire program of 10-12 courses which, when completed, earns the student a Biblical Update Certificate from SALT Leadership. We have a partnership agreement in place with the Seminario Bíblico Alianza del Perú or SEBAP.  We are presently in conversations to do something similar to give some advance standing for our students in Chile with the Seminario Teológico Alianza in Temuco, Chile.

CCEL was designed for those who wish training without having to seek a formal academic degree, but we are hoping to see more students in our various centers use the CCEL program to help kick start their studies in a more formal setting in both Peru and Chile. Our desire is to see more people biblically trained and equipped for ministry around the world.

Graduate School of Theology and Counseling

(ESTYC)

known in Spanish as Escuela Superior de Teología y Consejería

This program’s prospective students are pastors or full-time church workers. This degree will increase the student’s knowledge of the Bible and its teachings and equip the student to be an effective counselor. It is designed to give the student a greater ability to work with and help people who are struggling with emotional and behavioral problems.

Basic curriculum philosophy: The degree offered is a degree in Christian Theology and Counseling, divided between counseling courses and Bible and theology courses. The program consists of 12 courses offered over a three-year period (four courses per year). A student should be able to complete the program in three years, attending part-time. In addition to the completed course work, each graduate will be required to complete a masters’ research project approved by the academic leadership of SALT.

Admission to the Program:

The Master’s level program is designed as an advanced degree and requires graduation from a university, or completion of a previous education program in Theology and Bible.

Graduation requirements

Students who wish to graduate and receive a degree from SALT must complete all requirements of the curriculum and apply for graduation at least 1 month prior to the scheduled graduation.  Since this is an advanced academic degree program, only course grades above 70% (C- or 12) will count towards graduation. Students who wish to attend classes but are not interested in academic credit will be allowed to register for the class as an auditor.
